Portions are huge!! Service is slow but food is really good. The Vale IPA is hoppy and sweet - tastes great!

Excellent for a main meal or morning / afternoon tea - best place in Hahndorf for eating. Not cheap , but worth the experience re food & atmosphere. Large & varied within. Friendly staff . A "must" do.

Just order any schnitzel and you'll like it! Do add on a sauce for better flavour and moisture. Adelaide garden salad has fresh leaves and sweetish dressing . Coffees aren't aromatic enough.

Fabulous array of beautiful cakes ...ps another reviewer left a few negative tips.. I couldn't disagree more. Staff have always been very competent and friendly , free WiFi , excellent coffee gr8 service

Steaks were extraordinary! Have the char-grilled veg , magnificent!

Very good kitchen, very nice place. Taste the braised beef cheeks .

All staff were new and thus a bit frantic and clumsy.Food is good though and for brekkie , the savoury mince is a great throwback to old times.

Gr8 coffee , their new machine makes excellent coffee , huge crema .. Haus stays open late , long after most other #AdlHills places shut..

Staff really great, try the Haus Grazing Platter for a great lunchtime snack , with a beer of course

For breakfast the only way to go is for a breakfast pizza ! Great hangover cure ...

Here's my tip after my last disastrous experience with this place!! Try Hahndof Inn across the road !! You will be a lot more satisfied!!! I don't have enough letters left to tell you how bad it is!

Good family restaurant !

I've never seen a restaurant have a nuclear meltdown until tonight; service was a disaster of epic proportions. After 1.5 hours we paid for our wine and walked out to the envy of many other tables.

Great venue and outstanding service . Must try there pizza menu!

Go for coffee , stay for Oysters and wine .

The BEST dessert ever, rocky road pizza

As much as I enjoyed the beautiful setting of Hahndorf & glorious sunshine the food & service at The Haus was nothing more than disappointing. Unfriendly staff with no customer service skills.
