Saw this on Triple-D and figured I had to check out. Had 1/2 dozen each of raw and grilled oysters ... absolutely incredible! Our waitress , Samantha, was terrific. We'll be back for sure!

The oysters are some of the best I’ve ever had! I grew up on Long Island NY and shellfish was everywhere and fresh. The oysters at 55 met and exceeded my expectations.

The food is fair and the seating is tight. I had the Beef Brisket Tacos and the brisket was lacking the smokey flavor (or really much flavor at all). My wife had the Pro Boy and rather enjoyed it.

All the appetizers were really good. Everything else I saw going by looked just as good. Dessert was also amazing.

Solid cocktails . Above average shrimp and grits . Hot Nashville was plus.

Brunch was nice.lots of empty seats but had to wait on table.waitress was good but a little argumentative.person next to me spilled his drink.busboys didn't want to be there.one of those kind of days

If you get the fried pork chop sandwich , order it grilled and get extra avocado . It's the tits.

The Boudin Fritters were delicious, as were fried pickles/jalapenos and JJ’s Junk Chips . The Roast beef sandwich was terrific, just wish the bread was a higher quality. Seafood gumbo was delicious! Read more

Shrimp N Grits , red beans and rice , and shrimp in a bag! Excellent food.

The Mahi Reuben and sweet potato fries were delicious!! Friendly staff and the food came out pretty quick.
