This Zoo is my favorite to go to eventually built it's own. The Ft. Worth zoo offers a variety of animals and plenty of shade. My favorite aspect is the "underground" aquarium view of the Penguins.
It’s an awesome zoo for kids of every age! Especially the activities around the zoo (Petting zoo , discover areas, information signs) are great to learn and explore.
The Fort Worth Zoo is an excellent choice for a location to bring you friends and family. My family and I visited this park six months ago and our favorite exhibit was the tundra inspired ecosystem.
One of my favorite zoos on the planet! Habitats are clean and feel very natural. Visited in the fall w/great weather for activity. Zoo is huge so get there early.
The best zoo around! Lots of places to sit. Good food, great souvenirs. And the animals look so happy.
Get there when the zoo opens and go directly to the amazing bird enclosure . Buy a food stick and birds will swarm you to eat. If you don't get here until noon the birds are full!
Very clean for a zoo , staff us friendly and I love the variety of animals they have :)
Great zoo with a great price. The animals were actually active during this visit (Sunday afternoon). The orangutans were very friendly and played catch with us. Food was average, typical for a zoo .
We had a great time. Try to get here as early as possible and bring a cooler with drinks & snacks
Love how they organized that place ... it need minimum 3 hours to take a full tour and enjoy all parts
This is by far the best zoo . They had blocks of ice in the areas to keep the animals cool.
Half price Wednesdays! If you buy online and cannot print the confirmation, just open it on a smartphone and zoom to the barcode. The park readers will scan it!
Oh how fun. Even in the rain we had a blast seeing all the animals and the baby elephants are so cute ! And you don't realize how big it actually is until you get in there!
Don't miss the "parrot" paradise- really parakeets and cockatiels- spend a little on seed sticks, but DoNot let your kids be the ones holding them right when you walk in. Birds flock to them crazily.
Wonderful zoo with lots of shade and well taken care of animals.
If you go in the spring, you will get to see almost every animal they have to offer. Summer & winter are not the times you want to visit
Everything is great. This is one of my favorite zoos in the world.
Clean , interesting, not too time consuming (3hrs to tour ), and somewhatt cheap (about $15 per adult).
I would suggest that the zoo catch the thousands of honey bees at the garbage can and put them on display in a honey comb!!! Or they could make the bees check their stingers at the gate. Just sayin'
Great Biome recreations , clean facilities , superb staff . This zoo is world class !
went on half price Wed, perfect for my family of 6. This zoo will definitely not disappoint! loved it & will go again:)
Absolutely love this zoo , hands down best zoo around. Bird cage walk in is awesome.
Great zoo . Big enough to use the train back, thank God! A big hit with my son! Wouldn't advise a winter trip, lots of the best animals are keeping warm out of site!
Fort Worth Zoo at 19 minutes drive to the north of Sycamore Smiles Pediatric Dentistry
Bring your own water/drinks if you can, all the walking works up a thrust and can end up getting costly buying waters!
Hey don't you dare turn your back on me you big ape! ???? monkey butt humor is zoorific!!!
So much fun with the whole family. Still feel sorry for the animals being confined.
Great fun! The zoo is big with lots too see.
I've been to the Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and El Paso and it is by far the best zoo .
Bring ya own cooler full of drinks and snacks . The food prices are robbery, like going to the movies . LOL
Wide open spaces . Friendly workers . Many different sections.
Lovely view with a great layout and plenty to see!
Membership has it's advantages in the summertime. The Zoo opens one hour early every Monday in June - just for members! Keepers will be available to chat and answer questions 9 to 10 a.m. Read more
Lovely zoo with a great lay out and plenty to see!
It was as HOT as Hades, but we still had a great time with the kiddos!!
Awesome zoo but if you're going in the off-season pack a lunch because only like 2 food stands are open.
Great zoo ! One of the best in the country
Dont ride the train first thing. Only if on far end of zoo toyou go to entrance. Also squirrels are friendly , carry a couple peanuts .
One of my favorite places in the world. I worked here one summer in high school . try toplan your day around feeding times! check with the zoo rep on your way in!
Loved watching baby Gus run around and play. He's too cute !
Half price on Wednesday. Cost to take the train and to do anything inside. The lizards are super awesome.
Awesome place had lots of fun. Bring plenty of money 20oz soda is 3 bux.
Birds of Prey exhibit . Love the Sea Eagle!
Wednesdays are a must for the large family. Half Price you can't beat that!
Try going during the week, if you go here on weekend be prepared the place is a zoo .
Can be very cheap . Bring picnic lunch , bring a wagon, bring water. Bring hats, sunscreen , and binoculars .
Gorillas, bald eagles and much more.
Pretty, but they're screaming "please clean our habitat! It really smells!"
Best zoo I have been to :) had a really good time
It was wonderful! I am exhausted. This place is huge. Kids love it there
The bats are gone, but it's still a great section of the zoo. I wish some of the enclosures were more spacious, the space seems cramped for some of the animals. - David Wallis
Monkeys are fun to watch. Will wave back if you wave to them. - Bruce
Do not miss this exhibit!!! So many things to learn and see!!@ - David Wallis
Some of the best running/biking trails in Fort Worth. Beautiful scenery! - Rebekah Steadman
This super tiny exhibit seems so cramped. The penguins look happy, but it sure looks like a small place to live. - David Wallis
Great for seeing giraffes ???? you can buy some salad and feed them. It’s 6 bucks for 3 pieces of salad...overpriced I think. - Ju Le
