Sin Heng Claypot Bak Kut Teh

Specialises in “claypots ” (dishes prepared in a clay pot ), including the non-peppery version of bak kut teh (but not very medicinal, like those from Penang). Other dishes also legit! Open till late.

Dark, herbally (and original) Malaysian soup and that peppery Singaporean farce finally find a way to work together--much to my stomach's distended delight. Side dishes are equally cooperative.

Still my favourite bkt . Amazing w both chillies + black sauce ! Also more worth it for two pax if you order two small ones instead of one medium :)

The soup is very nice and rich with flavors. However, was expecting to have more variety of ingredients in the soup .

Clay pot bak koot teh (pork rib soup ) is a must try!

Some pedantry: bak koot teh vs bak kut teh . The former's on their signboard, e latter's printed on the napkins. Check in here until they change their signboard!

Be prepared to be disappointed if u prefer the ultra peppery type. This is neither too peppery nor too herbal. Perfect , if u ask me><

The ribs r on the tough side. Can afford more pepper or herbs in the soup . Need to decide on Klang style or local style. Blending both together is a no no.

soup nice. must try, claypot stir fry chang fen. must eat w the red chilli . other claypot dishes like noodles , mee sua - good. rice quality bad. service sloppy. 24 hrs but closes on every Mon.

waiting time for food alone is around 20 to 30 mins which is probably why i wont return. BKT is herbal version and was good, skip sesame chicken which only use half of wings and rather tasteless.

Love the Special claypot Bak Kut teh and 麻油鸡...both worth trying!!!

Ordered a claypot ba kut teh special( medium) $12. The soup was mixed with herbal base. I personally feel that the ba kut was nicely done and cook however I do not like the soup is filled with MSG.

Not worth the money. There's so little ingredients. I've had better ones. The soup doesn't have enough herbs to give the strong taste. But the ingredients are the ones that's really bothering me.

Sambal Brinjal very well executed. Soft but not mushy, and sambal is good.

The 菜尾 is sweet and not salty like what we usually have. If you do not like sweet ones, do not order.

The taste of the soup is not as good as before... The herbs are nonexistent...

Soup is nice

Pricey yet nothing much to rave about. The preserved vegetable is too sweet for my liking. Service is great though. Overall, so-so. I prolly wouldn't be back again.

Ba kut teh terenak kedua setelah Ng Ah Sio, kelebihannya adalah buka 24 jam, mantabss

状元肉骨茶中份（油条，咸菜），砂煲豆腐，麻油鸡翅，虾酱鸡翅，甘蔗马蹄水，桔子梅。量不大，价不贵，味道不错。没有空调，电扇充足，门口总是排队。
