Whelan's

Been here three times and every time found a new room/floor to explore. It already became my favourite bar the first time I was there. Must visit if you are into rock!

Whelan's is probably the best small music venue in Dublin. You can find local and international acts playing there every night. And you might just meet your future wife or husband there.

Great venue for concerts ! Small and up-close with the artists , wonderful atmosphere, nice people.

Nice pint of Guinness . Decent smoking area upstairs . Lovely little bar on level 3 if, you can get up there. ;)

Even when there's not live music , the tunes are quality.

Great any night of the week, but Fridays and Saturdays make it in before 11pm to avoid cover charges .

Get into the front bar before 9:30 to get in to the venue free

Very crowded , many douchies, weak drinks, but the music selection makes it all up

Look out for the statue at the end of the bar . Scares the beejaysus out of me every time.

Whelan's was always overrated. Pack them in. Charge €10 entry (even if you're only going to the bar part)
