An excellent children’s museum . So many fun things to run around and do. I have a 2 and 3 year old and the LOVE it there. Water play, construction site, building blocks, light wall, crafts. The best!
Great to be a member and keep coming back and not have pressure to see whole museum at once can just do one part or one hour each visit in a relaxed way.
Nice mix of museum and playground . Ideal for kids aged 3-8. My daughter loved the interactive water area as well as the 'building site'. You can easily spend a day here.
There's a second coat room and bathrooms on the other side of the building. When only one entrance is open, make your way to them for space & sanity.
With four main galleries , a toddlers-only gallery and more than 100 hands-on activities, Stepping Stones offers children ages ten and under plenty to explore and discover.
Put on the construction gear (hat, best, belt, tools, ect...) and start building something at the Build It exhibit....make sure to bring your permit!
the water room is the most fun thing to do in Fairfield County .
Not a stroller friendly place, odd for a "kid" friendly place. Bring a strong arm so you can carry your 3 month old while your 4 year old plays. Lucky for me the aquarium IS stroller friendly .
Get a family membership and go early on Saturdays during Members-only hour.
Check out the Dinosaur exhibit and then come build a massive one with your friends and norwalk 2.0 this Saturday at POP City , just steps away.
The museum stays open late ('till eight!) every first Thursday of the month - free admission too!
Great for family fun.
This is a great place to come to for kids to have fun in a museum
Bring a backpack so you can leave your hands free as your kids run everywhere!
Solar express is a big hit. Highly recommend for the under 6 set!
I love it. I used to work there
I love the tots room
Free admission for active duty military and families to Labor Day
Get here early to avoid the crowds. Hang out in the toy store for an extra 20 minutes of entertainment.
You know how you can tell Micheal Jackson is having a party? All the big wheels are parked out front!
Fun Toddler Town .
Overpriced overcrowded and stressful for kids under 2
