Amazing structure that opened late 2020/early 2021. Phenomenal space to walk through.

The fact that I’m on an Amtrak train drinking a Threes Brewing IPA and eating an Alidoro sandwich almost makes me forget I’m on an Amtrak train

Blue bottle for coffee , NAYA for Mediterranean, and there are seats in the Amtrak lounge for ticket holders. (Also, the escalator with a stanchion is typically the Amtrak track that’s next to board…)

Nice and clean train station , get there 10-15 minutes early! Book tickets early for discount :)

It’s a really nice train station , but they need to add a couple benches or chairs somewhere. Prepare to stand or sit on the floor while you wait.

Beautiful space with good bathrooms and ticketed waiting rooms.

Pretty station, but what was the point of spending all that money without improving the boarding process. And the lack of seating is hostile design at its finest.

Pro tip: get an açaí bowl to-go in the central hall in Penn Station (right before the entrance to Moynihan) for your Amtrak .

The food hall is open now! Go there for seating, food, drinks

Jazzed up food court with giant bar with live music during evening rush hour. Strangely, in the food court area there is shitty reception. At least for verizon 😝

Fresh new look. Much better than coming through the old side and its smells.

Brand new but will look old very fast. Not a single trash bin ANYWHERE. Tiny escalators not designed for the large traffic flow. NYC should have tried to emulate a European train station .

Now you LIRR, Amtrak and NJ Transit commuters can enjoy this train hall while waiting for the train .

Try to get into Metropolitan Lounge . Probably won’t work but always try.
