Great place... Clean and extremely beautiful, be prepared with chairs and food/drinks as there is only one point in the reserve beach that sells beverages and rent chairs/chases.
Nice quiet beach with a Gopher Turtle preserve between the parking lot and the water. Not really a picnic area . Make sure to check for turtles before you drive away: they like to hide under there!
Sunshine, great sand, warm water, good water quality. Watch animals (birds, frogs and turtles ). Small drinks bar on the beach
For a day of fun in the sun, visit the nearby Barefoot Beach State Preserve and keep an eye out for gopher tortoises and dolphins!
One of my favorite beaches in SW Florida! Love watching and taking pics of the tortoises. Large beach area so it never feels super crowded .
Several spots to get to this beach . One is through a park and must lookout for tortoises as they are well protected.
