The servers can be rude, but the food makes up for that. They make the best dumplings . Order the fried and steamed for the full experience. Both are 6 for $6.
David's is the late-night spot for industry folk, and offer some of Chinatown's best eats. Don't sleep on the house noodle soup or the salt and pepper chicken wings . [Eater 38 Member]
The classic after hours spot in Chinatown especially after a show at the Troc. The rice and noodle dishes on the menu are also old Chinatown classics. See if you can spot QuestLove ;)
I've tried all the salt and pepper dishes and the squid and shrimp triumphs! Delicious! I'd recommend the beef chow fun as well !
Best: salt&pepper wings/squid, beef chow fun w/choy sum&gravy, fried/steamed dumplings w/GINGER SAUCE, any dish over rice , pork casserole , hot&sour soup , wonton noodle soup , clam w/blk bean,HOT SAUCE!
Everything I’ve ever had here: meat and vegetarian , has been wonderful! Great late night choice.
Sautéed spinach , chicken and broccoli , spring rolls and the hot tea all were delicious
Salt and pepper seafood , hong kong style wonton and chicken chow fun (dry style) is a must!
The ginger dumpling sauce is so good! I crave these dumplings year-round. I've watched them get put together- incredible dexterity and speed!

I don't know what you're all smoking, but you need to give me some.. This place is a dump ! From the godawful 1972 yellowed wallpaper to the hostess-station sized bar . It attracts the weirdest people.
If ever there was a place to stop while in Chinatown, this is it. Dont take offense to the sometimes rude waiter . He does love you, but doesnt love his job all the time. Great food good price.
Classic American Chinese food , great late night post-drinking spot.
Amazing duck and salted chicken . Kind staffs and seasonal food 'Hongchoi'
If you want soup , ask for the noodles menu. It has a lot more soup options than the regular menu. All the dumpling soups are good. They stay open pretty late on weekends too!
Fried or steamed dumplings . Garlic crabs . Crispy beef noodles . Late night food.
Get what you like. Everything is good here. From the spring rolls , to the soup , to the chicken with broccoli .
Salt-and-pepper wings/shrimp/squid is the way to go. Also, the fried dumplings with ginger sauce are very good.
Love the fried dumplings and the salt & pepper shrimp .
ROAST DUCK ROAST PORK WONTON NOODLE SOUP
Just getting takeout ? They have another entrance on 10th closer to Spring St. Get some Peking duck with rice ! Nom nom. Nom
the sweet and sour sauce is literally crack cocaine. You will leave this place overdosed on MSG resulting in hallucinations of dragons. Beware of Darth Waiter
Love the salt and pepper wings . Avoid the hot and sour soup .
The ginger sauce that comes w/the fried dumplings is amazing.
Get the won ton soup . Huge dumplings and generous helping .
This place should have a warning posted on the door: "Pork dumplings may spark serious addiction." That, and the fact that they stay open till 3 a.m.! Read more
Try the fried noodle dishes , they're great!!
Jennifer Carroll, chef of Concrete Blonde (coming soon), eats here on her nights off. She loves the Steamed & fried dumplings . Read more
Must try salt and pepper chicken wings ...change to life!
Overall good "standard" Chinese restaurant . Steamed or fried dumplings w/ginger sauce (they serve it on the side).
Best spot for late night Chinese hands down.

Duck with bkl bean sause And salt and pepper chicken
If you like being ignored, this is the place for you. The customer service has gotten worse and worse by Day. You WILL wait 1/2 an hour to an hour for your dish. No one to greet you in the front.
Dumplings dumplings dumplings
The noodles were pretty good drunk.
The walnut shrimp is like candy . Not on the menu .
Very American friendly ...for those intimidated.
The house special soup is great
Always look for the thinner lainated menu...the menu there is cheaper. And please stay away from the "Darth Waiter ."
Salt and pepper anything
Beef chow fun is legit Cantonese.
Try the shrimp and broccoli .
