Nacho Hippo

Nice simple twist on Mexican food . No burritos or enchiladas . Just interesting takes on nachos , tacos , and quesadillas . Lobster tacos...what?? Korean BBQ tacos...huh?? Had tacos and nachos . Nummy!!

Was fantastic! Had the Ka-Ka-Ka-Kia tacos . They were outstanding, had kimshi inside that taste like the Korean ladies used to make and bring when I worked the MBAFB dining hall where the lake sits!

I had the best nachos in the entire world! If you are in the mood for nachos , get the Hungry Hippo. This place is definitely on my list of favorite restaurants in Myrtle Beach!

Watching in horror as the family next to us get a 'game token' from goodness knows where in their nachos and then the manager asked them to fill out a form to get the nachos only comped...my goodness

Very festive & colorful decor with a a fun atmosphere . Servers seems very attentive & food selection is great. The outdoor patio is the Crown Jewel, so expect to wait to sit out there! :)

They have a gluten free menu : just ask! Make sure to mention when ordering & ask for soft corn tortillas . Can't have the chips , as they're fried in shared oil.

Thai taco is the bomb (so is the mushroom cheeseburger quesadilla ). We have to swing by here every time we come to Myrtle!

Chicken chimi has the best chicken in it! My favorite chimi I've ever had anywhere!

Nacho platters are about $10-11 and can definitely be split between 2 people!

Very good food and so hard to decide what to get. Tho the restaurant was way to small for the amount of business. Expect to wait for a table.

First time here! I work in a Mexican Restaurant and came here and the atmosphere and server were great!and food was delicious!!!Very cheesy! Yum! ... But I agree the Hostess was rude and unfriendly :(

Been to UCPizza many times but first time here. It was not busy but took FOREVER for a server to come to us. Meanwhile several employees (5-7?) were standing around doing nothing at the hostess stand.

All the food is worth the price. 2 of us ate nachos and still had to get box!
