Hip , well-located hotel . Some rooms oddly configured. Rooms overlooking Hillcrest are large but can be bright and noisy . Fewer amenities than the Palomar but great for short , friendly/local stays!
Nice Kimpton property. Across the street from SMU. Super friendly staff .
Don't let your dog swim in the pool. It's gross and inconsiderate! Mario the operations manager is amazing!

If you order the blueberry "pie " for dessert beware. It's really just a small tart , not a proper slice.
