One of the only Northern Chinese restaurants in Manhattan. The menu has dishes from a bunch of different regions but ask for the northern Chinese specialities.
Cumin lamb and 馅饼 (not sure how it's translated: pork and chicken biscuits , maybe?) were great!
Food is really cheap and authentic . Service is quick. Almost all the dishes we tried including dumplings , Kungpao chicken , desserts were all great! The place can get quite loud though.
Not your typical Chinese stuff, this is pretty authentic northern Chinese cuisine , you either know what that is or you don't. Pretty satisfying without a trek to Queens.
Authentic Northern Chinese cuisine
Everything was pretty ok; I didn't think anything really stood out
The slice lamb with cumin is delicious.
good Chinese food . Liked the mapo tofu and sautéed pork in sweet bean sauce
The pork w. pickled cabbage pot was really quite good.

Terrible service and mediocre food. Definitely recommend checking out the other neighborhood restaurants before eating here.
