Sunset Bowling Lanes

Being the only bowling alley in San Marcos, Sunset is okay. You can easily smell smoke as you enter since smoking is allowed. They do have great daily deals, especially their college nights on Monday.

Newer & bigger isn't always better. If that's what you're looking for, I recommend Fiesta Lanes in New Braunfels. This is a good place to go to have laid-back fun & avoid crowds.

They just gave the place a facelift (paint, new tvs ) still needs a full bar . They don't recycle which loses a couple cool points with me. Offer a lot of specials throughout the week.

Also, they stay open 'til midnight everyday... a big plus in a small town .

If you get here M-F before 5 it's $3 for 2 games and shoes w/ your txst ID. But apparently it's only a 1 time deal. That's BS

Huge sign in front says "Now non-smoking," yet there was a lady (probably an employee) smoking in the small pro-shop area by the lockers. The chemical smell does not help. It makes it worse. :/

Awesome staff totally makes up for the dated atmosphere. : )
