Peaches

The French toast is perfect. Crispy thanks to the granola but still moist. Not too sweet and bright thanks to fresh fruit . I get it with the Jim cade breakfast which gives you a bit of everything.

I had a great eating experience at Peaches. I had the salmon cakes and they were delicious. The prices was reasonable and the location was close to the A and J trains on Lewis Avenue.

The chicken wings as an appetizer were tasty. Sweet & tangy to be exact. For brunch I had the Jim Cade special. Scrambled eggs w/cheese, turkey bacon , French toast , & cheddar grits . Not too good☹️

super delicious! the catfish was amazing, good drinks too. not crowded on a thursday night, worth it to try for dinner rather than braving the rush for a similar brunch menu

Finger-licking-good! If u like soul food than u will like this place. I must say it has a bit of a "posh" spin to it but then u bite into the succulent cornbread and spicy chicken wings ????????????????????.

Ordered the French Toast and it was AMAZING. The waiter felt very upset when we didn't receive our drink and on the next trip the same drink was on the house. Such a lively and lovely place!

Blackened catfish and cheddar hominy grits . Just do it. And love it hard. Best slab bacon I've had outside of the South. Friendly waitstaff too.

Great food, po boy is competing with itself. Barbecue and sweet potato fries come in bucket portions but are delicious, so you'll likely eat them until you hate yourself.

Nice atmosphere, attentive, friendly staff . Solid food. Shrimp&Grits a winner! Collards=bland disappointment- I think they're made without meat. MacNCheese was good too. I will definitely return.

Visited recently after a hiatus, the service has definitely gotten better! Waitress was very attentive and the food was delicious! Perhaps with more options in the Stuy Peaches had to step it up!

The spicy peanut salad is my fave! Ask for lightly dressed . Shrimp and grits (pictured) are yummy too, but heavy.

The hand dipped flounder was great. The presentation of the fish was a little messy but great flavor!!! Complimented with a nice side of coleslaw and fries .

The vegetarian grits with mushrooms , broccoli and parmesan cheese (with a side of corn bread ) never disappoints!

BBQ shrimp and grits . Delicious. Fried chicken is really good too. The medium spice is more spicy than expected but still wanted more. Yum

The peanut salad is incomparable, and the wings are always good. But unless you like a really sweet cocktail , stick to wine , beer , or spirits straight up.

This Southern-style eatery offers great BBQ dishes such as pulled pork ($12) and a catfish sandwich ($10). Vegetarians , try the beet salad with navel oranges , arugula and lemon-herb goat cheese .

Order a Macallen neat with the brownie for dessert for realization that earth is heaven!

Small ribs won't let you down! It's the perfect amount of food. Also, The Local is an awesome drink!

EVERYONE that works at Peaches is really nice, friendly , and pleasant. That being said, I've rarely had a service experience there that was not poor. The food is hit or miss, but, the music is great.

Was here for lunch and highly recommend the fried chicken and catfish . Super friendly service too.

The farmers omelet with mushrooms , spinach , tomatoes , and goat cheese . Roasted potatoes and a side of arugula and beets . Yummy!!

A great casual atmosphere which a very nice staff . Their spinach and artichoke dip is hands down the best.

The short rib is a magical cuboid of beef the size of a large man's large fist. Recommended

Everything here is so good. Terrific coffee and the meatloaf sandwich is outstanding.

I was on the fence about Peaches for a while, but they have won me over. It's more of a neighborhood go-to spot for me.

Gotta love black owned businesses. Great atmosphere, French toast breakfast is to die for.

Don't order the flounder (bland & like 'shake n bake'). Mac n cheese was good, tho. I will definitely be coming back to try some of the other dishes and to get another Brownstone Punch !

The Turkey Sausage Omelette was good and the Mimosas are STRONG!!! Get 2!

Always, always, always have a drink here. The bartenders are the best!
