Great place to take out of town friends. Drinks are on the spendy side, but you pay for the location. Sit in the sun, keep the cold beer flowing and enjoy the tunes by the water!
Come early, grab a table if you see one, or just chill by the sidewalk. Great views of circular quay and the Bridge in the evening
The best views in Sydney beside the opera house looking out over the harbour bridge . Extensive range of beer wine spirits and food. Perfect for Sunday lunch .
Amazing view here!! We came here in the evening and enjoyed the warmth from the heater since it was very cold during the winter.
Can't go past it for views of the harbour bridge and opera house. A must-do if visiting Sydney, and the cocktails are delicious.
One of the best bars in Sydney . It has the most epic view of the Harbour bridge and Opera House. Great place to watch the sun setting. There is also live music at the weekend.
Great view and food but it does get pretty packed during the weekend.
Crowded , turistic but these views are so good! Live music almost everyday I would say and prices are not over the roof! Go for sunsets !

Semi touristy but great spot to grab a beer on a week day after work and take in the amazing views
Stop by the Backyard BBQ and have some fried prawns — and make sure to eat them by the water while enjoying the view !
Great atmosphere, prices are reasonable considering the location, and portions are generous. But do watch out for the seagulls. Maybe sit near an umbrella if you can and/or don't order French fries .
Grab a cider and watch desperate seagulls hunting for turists' sushi and mini burgers . Oh, and THE view , of course.
The view , the vibe, the food and drinks are also surprisingly great for a tourist spot. It’s affordable for both the locals and the tourists
After walking from our hotel this was a great spot to stop for a drink and take in the bay , the opera house and good people watching .

Yeah, it can be filled with photo happy tourists at times and the cocktails aren’t the best, but with views this damn good who gives a sh*t? http://barchick.com/find-a-bar/sydney/the-opera-bar
Grilled octopus salad with dill and crushed olives was very tender $24. Wedges were large and filing bit need a stronger sauce $11
Look out for attack gulls. They mainly go for seafood dishes but can be fought off with a medium sized baguette .
Sweet potato crisps $9, well spiced potato wedges with sweet chilli mayo $11 & polenta fries with romesco sauce and shaved Parmesan $12, all huge
Great afternoon relaxation by the Quay and fresh and crisp glass of wine for reading pleasures

GORGEOUS. Sit outside with a bottle of vino and take a bajillion pictures of the bridge , opera house and yourself with both in the background. Heaters on chilly nights were the goods.
Very chill open bar to enjoy the skyline late afternoon, go early to get under the shades.
Flooded with sun in the afternoon, sit outside and marvel at one of the best views of the Harbour Bridge , while sitting right beneath the Opera House. This location is like nothing else.
Try the Opera Tasting Plate, great value ! If you don't like it then just check out the view !
Nice place to have drink and enjoy the sun and the opera view
Come for the views , not the prices. Sunset and a drink in good weather is supreme. In summer I would recommend the apple cider .

Sipping a morning coffee , an afternoon beer or an evening champagne at the Sydney Opera House. Great!
Good atmosphere on a Friday night and plenty of people out for the evening. A round of drinks for three people was about $25
Opera Bar Pale Ale is made by Red Oak brewery on Clarence St. - well worth it. Sweet potato thin and crispy chips are fun but not filling, but you come here for the view anyway.
Great outdoor bar with spectacular views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Lovely new seating along the water. A favourite of mine during my short Sydney layovers
Stunning surroundings. The drinks are average and the prices are high, but worth at least one visit on a summers evening.
Not the greatest bar in Sydney as far as food or beverage goes, but the view can't be beaten. Gets mega busy on sunny days so get there early if you want a table, or a chair
