Cozy and authentic Looking atmosphere. Lunch is only 7 EUR. A lot of vegetarian and vegan options available (everything can be made vegan . Just ask, they'lle know what to do!).

Delicious Indian food ! I like the bindi masala . Almost everything is gluten-free and can be made vegan , just ask. The menu has recently been redesigned to be simpler and easier to navigate.

Fantastic Indian restaurant . Nice staff , authentic decorations and great food. This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Hamburg. Reservation needed on the weekends.

Reserving a table doesn't mean no waiting time :) Servings are generous. Even though I've never seen an Indian person eating there, the food is pretty authentic . I like the over the top décor!

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Germany so far. The food is very authentic . Try their new sibling Maharani, which serves the identical fare in a more modern, less cozy setting.

Decorating your plates with carrots , cucumbers and paneer do not make the dishes outstanding. They only look better. Very average Indian food . The nan was really good though.

This place is very overrated. Not only is it so crowded that walking to your table is neary impossible but it is also filthy and by that i mean there was a MOUSE running along one of the shelves!!

Eines der besten indischen Restaurants in Deutschland, und das kommt von einer Inderin :-). Mein Favorit: Das Chicken Maharaja mit Naan . Auch gut: Der preiswertere Mittagstisch.

Wer hier nicht reserviert hat mehr Glück als Verstand & wer glaubt er kennt die indische Küche aber noch nie im Maharaja war hat keine Ahnung. Das beste was Indiens Küche in Deutschland zu bieten hat!

Leckere Vollkorndinkelbrote, super Hühbersuppe und ein Ingwertee der jeden Anflug von Erkältung vertreibt und von Innen wärmt. Hier schmeckt alles lecker!

Gutes Essen und Gerichte weit über das Standardrepertoire in indischen Restaurants (in Deutschland) hinaus. Immer gut gefüllt, allerdings auch etwas eng, vor allem an den Vierertischen.

Ich liebe den Maharaja! Alle indisch-vegetarischen Gerichte sind zu empfehlen. Ich sitze besonders gern in der Kuschelecke oder an dem Tischchen mit Blick in die Küche :)

Super leckeres Essen, wie ein kleiner Urlaub. Reservierung empfehlenswert, aber wer etwas Zeit mitbringt, wartet halt kurz.
