Everything you'd expect from an IKEA store: nice showroom + a big ol' warehouse . Hard to find help in the warehouse if you need it, though. Cheap concessions-type food (hot dogs , soda ) near checkouts.

The shortcut to the home decor is a double-door on the first floor behind the escalator, right past smaland. If you're a repeat visitor and don't need to see the 2nd floor showrooms.

Free magic forest playland for the kids while u shop. They give u a pager in case your kid needs you and it seems very secure! Cool.

I find myself going here just for the food. Amazing and cheap . I found things here I need, and never knew existed. Check out the clearance section next to the register you'll be amazed @ what you find

Get the Patrol green alligator bath mat in the kids section . My favorite IKEA purchase ever.

Use the IKEA app to keep track of your shopping list. Scan what you want into your shopping list.

wear your walking shoes . there is a lot to see and it takes time to get through the entire store. use your phone to take pics of what you want from the showrooms...lifesaver.

Saturday is super busy! But a great place to leave the kids for an hour to play!

Be sure to wear good walking shoes because you will need them! Its like 8 super wal-marts all put together (floor space). Check out the as-is section before leaving!

This IKEA is the biggest IKEA I have been in and the selection was wonderful. Something for all ages.

TONS of assembly required on their furniture , but great stuff! If a piece is missing, you have to go to the store and wait in line with the returns/exchanges crowd. Sometimes can take awhile.

Be careful it can turn into a full day event , bc there are so many deals and u can get your head busted real quick.

Skip getting a bag at the escalator. Upstairs all you need is a pencil and order card. You can get a shopping cart or bag when you come back downstairs.

If you aren't lucky enough to live in a city with an IKEA, feel free to spend the day in ours!

I love IKEA and so far it's the only one in NC. Always get the meatballs .

I like walking through the showroom and seeing all the cheap furniture . Now if only they'd build a Triangle-area store...

Become an ikea member, have lunch and spend enough in the shop to have your lunch bill refunded on your sales receipt!

Best to shop Monday - Thursday during the day...evenings & weekends are busy and they never have enough lanes/registers open.

Take a picture of the tags in the showroom with your phone so you can easily find them in the warehouse section.

If you buy a drink in the cafeteria , you can bring your receipt to the grocery section at the check out for a free to-go drink.

The As-Is section is mostly either floor displays or items that have been returned and instead of putting the back out on the floor, they put them in the as-is section which offers uuber deals!

Make sure you pick up a free slice of measuring tape, a pencil, and a brochure to write down where your stuff is in the self service aisle!

Make sure to take a couple Swedish meatballs and stick them in your wallet. You never know when you're gonna need a meatball .

Thanks for the shopping date Ikea! You can leave your kids at their daycare free for 60 minutes. I wish the mall did that!

They have free wi-fi. Helpful if somebody else in your party is doing some intense shopping.

Super cheap everything. Saturday is usually packed though, including the restaurant .

Going later in the evening can help with the crowds. We went last night, and there were very few people there. Just had to wait in line longer to check out.

So, get in line & fill out your paperwork IN LINE , then drop the littles. They only give ya an hour or so, but its a break. You might could slip in a quickie if youre predisposed.

Place was nearly empty on a Friday at 4pm yet the line was about sixty people deep. 26 registers, 3 people working... I had hundreds of dollars worth of stuff and I left it right there. Manager?

Ikea is amazing! I love the overall atmosphere.

The cafe actually has pretty good food, especially the chicken tenders and meatballs

With bedding, you choose your comforter (duvet), then choose any filling (1-6) to go inside. 1 is coolest, 6 is warmest.

Don't b in a hurry, there is a lot to see. Check out the "as-is" department, some good deals .

Went looking 4 a bed frame. Found one we liked and went downstairs to get the frame, sides and supports. However, they were out of the sides. Come on guys. Take it off the display floor if you're out!

Furniture and food are wonderful get the meatballs and a chair

The tempurpedic mattresses are a little too stiff to do extra curricular activities on.

Just love going throgh here! If shopping can be fun, this might qualify as a fun place.

Amazing place, make sure you have lots of time to walk around.

They have soooo many registers and only 2 open!! Customer line about 15 deep. Not cool!! Need to open more registers!!
