Ended up drinking for hours at the bar (which does not take Amex) Only to be mandatorily charged for additional drinks with our seats and towels. So much for sobriety!????

Everything is good here. House music , drinks, food and the beach are fantastic here.

I walked around and looked at all the beaches on Playa del Carmen and this one is the best. The most clean out of all.

Not bad for a beach club. Music was pretty decent and prices were what i expected. Drinks were pretty strong. Just remember you're paying for the beach NOT for great food. ;)

This is one of the beaches of Playa del Carmen with most wave action. Waves are not strong in Q. Roo as on the Pacific, and given Cozumel Playa is even more protected.

You can rent a big bed for 200 pesos but you need to spend 1000 pesos. 2 single bed for the same price but only spend 500 pesos. If you prefer a long chair it's 30 pesos no spend min. Great music !

Fantastic beach scene. Mamitas was there from the start of the popularity of Playa. And they got it right.

Get there early. Expensive bar . Ask for the price in advance otherwise you will be "surprised"...

Few waiters , slow service, lounges need maintenance, they are pretty ugly and used. Pricey . Tons of local people fill up the beach in front of the beach club. :S
