Great place to spot wide variety of water birds, a pair of Asian short clawed otters & rare water vole sightings! very child friendly ! nice cafe with outdoor seating . good value membership scheme

Toby Morris

Great place to go with kids, particularly when the weather is good. Take a picnic though as pound for pound the cafe is probably one of the most expensive places to eat in London for what you get....

A 20 mins walk away from Hammersmith Bridge and the trail by the river leading to WWT is very pleasant. Even though it's targeting parents and kids, it's still worth a visit.

Carys Hughes

I brought my Great Grandad's binoculars here the other day and had an amazing, relaxed day off watch lapwings, among other things. Beautiful spot.

Faye Cruddace

You'll be surprised at the natural beauty and size of the wetlands right in the centre of London. It's recommended you go at different times of the year to see how the wetland changes with seasons.

The Guardian

"The best place to go bird-watching in the capital, from wetland birds and wildfowl to migrating ospreys. Free guided tours at 11am and 2pm, and you can join the wardens for feeding time at 3pm..." Read more

Very interesting plaсe. You сan feel the spirit of wild nature here. In London this is not easy to do in the parks . But it`s better to сome on spring time .

Magda

A local treasure, most especially the Wild Side summer route. Great play area and indoor activities for kids too.

Faye D

Great place, the staff are so friendly , and good birds. Don't bother buying the £3.50 guide as the information in the park is better.

Missy

Love getting back to nature within London. Beautiful for bird watching and a lovey wander

Chris Larkin

Great space to enjoy wildlife in central London. Picnic spaces and great visitor facilities too

Prashant Srivastava

Get a membership if you plan to visit more than once a year. Which you would cause of the variety every season.

Robert Hughes

Well worth a visit if you have young ones. Quiet & tranquil and acres of space for children to run around.

Haylee

The kids area/playground is great. Take a towel as the swamp area (showers ) is fantastic in the hot weather.

New York Habitat

Great place for bird watching and fun for children too! It’s completely different every season.

Vic McGin

Completely worth the trek to Barnes. Skip the cafe .

Picnics brings you to a place of no returning forever in love and happy with your partners, kids, friends, loved ones and your best buddy

Elizabeth Winters

Queues in the cafe can get long at lunchtime - get in there early!

Bill Glover

Never busy. We always enjoy our visits. But, bring your own food. The meals were bland and overcooked in 2013, still true in 2022.

Kirsty Jane

Spring time & all the babies are out!
