Started with the crispy fish fillet with mango salad & crispy style fried kangkung (the batter reminds me of vegetable tempura ) & noshed on satisfying TomYam fried rice topped with an optional egg .
Thai ice tea 's serving was generous. Ended with one of their artisan ice cream . The Flavours: Tom yam , Green Curry or Ice Tea , I wasn't feeling that adventurous today, so I opted for the ice tea !
The Tod Mun Pla (Thai Fish Cakes ) were a bit too rubbery for my taste.Type of fish used & the way it's fried make a diff - I've had excellent restaurant versions in BKK where it's soft & easy to chew.
The Tom Kha Gai was satisfyingly tasty w/ perfect balance of saltiness & sourness from the lime & fish sauce . Coconut milk was thin w/o being overpowering. Could hv been perfect if it were spicier.????
As perhaps the most beloved Thai street food dish of all time, the Pad Kra Pao Gai or Thai Basil Chicken@Mr Tuk Tuk came close to being perfect. It's fragrant thanks to generous serving of basil leaves.
Thai Sotong Salad ,Tofu w/Seafood & Green Curry Chicken set came w/Ice Tea . @MYR18.80, it's worth it.Portion's generous.Food's tasty & authentic compared to my previous visit. They need to hv better QC.
Foursquare reviews are a great way to track the insane inflation in Malaysia. My last review had 12.50 on a meal. Now it’s 17+.. that’s a 40% increase folks!
Reasonable pricing, much better than Boat Noodles . Tried the Basil with Beef Rice and Phad Thai . Presentation was nice, portion was good and quite tasty too.
Delicious Thai food with reasonable price, friendly staff . Highly recommend their Phad Thai (a stir-fried rice noodle )
Food is quite good but service not so good due to huge crowd. But one lady staff assist us very well ???????????????? portion quite small though
RM12.50 for this in a mall joint, can't really complain. Decent portions and taste. The chicken wings that came with myBasil Chicken Rice was surprisingly good though. - 24/10/17
I wouldn't call the food here as truly authentic . Green Curry Chicken was a let down - probably didn't use fresh curry paste. Tom Yum Fried Rice was better - could tell it's cooked under intense heat.
Padthai , tomyam , somtam. Yum yum good ! And their thai iced coffee
For my 2nd n 3rd visit in less than 24hours. Love their food and tasty ????
Water chestnut in coconut cream ????... Creamy fragrant Coconut with just the correct sweetness blends well with the red ruby
The food is nice, not super great though. It is pricey considering their brand is Thai street food . very crowded . And the food takes very long to come. If you're hungry, go some where else.
Set lunch 2 comes with iced real mango puree... Drink, pineapple rice , mango kelabu, sweet spicy chicken ????????pandan chicken is just ok only
Phat Thai (Fried flat noodles ) is good !
Special platter 2...the honey chicken and the satay ????
Thai street food unreasonable price. A set lunch for RM19 is abit steep for people working around this area. Food is mediocre and nothing much to praise about. Hope they revamp their business.
Delicious Tom Yum Fried Rice and Thai Milk Tea ..
The bbq lamb and tom yam noodles are to die for
???????????? the steam sotong very small and no spicy no sour... tomyam just one taste... spicy ...Green curry too many coconut milk jor...mix vegetables not bad!!!Jasmine tea nice...
Quite small portion , is real street food portion but not authentic taste. overall still ok , will come back for thai noodles , steam sotong and milk tea . Tom yam not good.
The sets with watermelon juice .
Tom yum fried rice , pandan chicken
Value set meal & it taste good
Standards dropped so much . Tom yam and squids steam lime Souce are not the same anymore. Alike Tom yam paste soup . Kang kung is only 2 mouth full , too small portion. Very disappointed ????!
We tried pineapple fried rice and salted fish fried rice . Not really as expected. Their services were good. But food needs improvement.
Thai Pandan Chicken is tasteless & is hard, despite its priceyness !!! Tuk-Tuk noodle still barely ok...
Food is just above average and overrated. Boat noodle is relatively small portion but is expensive .
Go alacarte you’ll be bankrupt as the portions are tiny. Better to go for the set meal as it comes with drink that actually tastes better than the food. Food soso only..
Not worth the hype, overpriced, over seasoned, too spicy
Inside Starling Mall, it has a small eatery section (bakery, coffee, cafe) with seating area.Grill and roast chicken sets are good. Delicious and reasonable price - Chai ML
Must try their Portuguese egg tart... Crispy buttery flaky outer tart with a smooth silky creamy egg custard... ???? - Chai ML
Judy's Hakka Lei Cha(Thunder Tea rice) hits the right spot when I craved something freakishly green and healthy. Its filled with fresh herbs and greens the soup is mildly minty. The popiah were gr8. - Se7enthAngel
Braised pork noodle is what I always go for. Wife love their Tomyam noodles and roast pork rice. Eggplant dish was good too. Currently the go to place for food when we are at 1 Utama. - Max P
Yummy Thai food! Mango Sticky Rice is so delicious! Love their fried rice too.. the rice is purple color - Lynette Tan
Lovely mall. Easy to get around inside. Ample of parking which is a plus point. - AManda HUang
so convenient to have a bookstore here! - mandy
Great bookstore to get discounted books although selections may not be as wide as others like Kinokuniya. There's a cafe inside to have a cup of tea or coffee while reading your books. - Kai-Loon Yong
