A true Philly tradition, the Mummers Parade is held every New Years Day. This museum , open since 1976, pays homage to 'America's Oldest Continual Folk Festival .'
On New Year 's Day, clowns, comics & other characters march in Philadelphia outside the museum . The parade has been a city tradition for more than a century & in the 1940s 2 million people participated
