Lovely chilled out spot just inside from the canal with authentic udon and soba noodles on cold or hot broth. Little play area for kids and outside patio when the sun is shining.

Love this place so much. A little japanese oasis in Haggerston . If you manage to find it, try the matcha or black sesame cheesecake and the corresponding/complementary latte . Lovely pottery too!

Perfect place for children: plenty of scaled down furniture , toys , and outdoors space by the canal . The udon noodles with sesame are one of my favourite dishes, Japanese omelette a close second.

A beautiful little cafe with amazing udon and other Japanese treats. The cold udon with sesame dip was a highlights. Order toast and spreads for fun schmere-able treats you weren't expecting.

Lovely spot on Kingsland Basin with an authentic Japanese feel. A bit tough to find though - look for the metal gate!

Plenty of delicious soba and udon noodle dishes , including vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Free wifi also available.

Fantastic soba noodles , and the most relaxing atmosphere you can find

I found the natto set menu a bit bland, but the matcha cheesecake is worth to live for.

The sour plum rice ball is fantastic! Also the matcha latte when ordered without sugar is great (otherwise I find it quite sweet).

Definitely a lovely place but make sure to dedicate 1.5 hours if you are planning to have lunch here. They may also run out of some options in the menu before 1pm..

Cold soba with sesame dip topped with kitsune = fox in Japanese (fried tofu that's orange like a fox). Japanese latte tea :)

Came in for a coffee , left after trying most of the menu. Lovely coffee , great toast , certainly worth a visit.
