Nick's Seafood Restaurant

Nick's is worth it for the views , the baby octopus , the lobster under $50, and the Heavenly Crunch dessert - was really surprised I liked it this much! Full review is now up at Spooning Australia.

Hot and cold seafood platter and a glass of champagne on a Saturday night , ending off with fireworks just outside the restaurant . The wait for the table took quite a while though.

Great value kids' meals. For $13.50 they get a choice of calamari & chips , chicken & chips or fish & chips , plus soft drink and ice cream dessert w/ choice of toppings. Huge servings, friendly staff .

Good service , and nice place with good view on the Darling Harbour (and the Saturday night firework ). But damned, the food (the Fisherman Basket) was... awful ! To avoid.

There is lots of bad comments about this place. In July 2011 our table of 8 was quickly served on a busy Saturday night . Everyone said they enjoyed their meal. I had lamb souvlaki - it was very nice

Service was exceptional, and the coffee was great. Grab the big breakfast for a fast start with a great view of the harbour .

Great seafood @ fish options with large portions ! And fantastic views of Darling Harbour!

The prawns are very good, the house wine is surprisingly good.

Expensive, sticky floors and if only they can find a way to get the hot food to the table a little bit faster... my orders came to table semi cold. but friendly service tho.

Standing in line for over half a hour the staff are under to much pressure I've had a bottle of wine dropped at my table and water spilled and another waiter dropped a whole tray of glasses

Surf & Turf combo totally worth it! Especially with the Entertainment book voucher . Could easily share it between 3 people.

The chicken breast wasn't to bad but I found to be a little over priced. The view of the harbour is magnificent & the staff are friendly

Seafood entree for two is filling enough for two at lunch and amazing. Everything on the plate us superb!

Fast Service , pasta , calamari , scallops and garlic bread in 15 minutes

I have been there twice. Fantastic food, fantastic wine , fantastic service.Probably a bit too expensive , but definitely worthwhile!

Saturday night was packed. Service wasn't the best and the seafood platter was overpriced for what I got. Consider another seafood place on the harbour .

Ordered seafood platter . Cost us AUD180 for this. Nothing really special. I think it's a bit over priced.

Crab an lobster is good

Fish is great, wine is good, salt is too big for the holes in the salt shaker.

Slow service. Don't go there right at opening time or you will wait for service forever!

This place is a bit of a rip off. Esprcially the drinks. And the bacon is undercooked on the BLT.

Food was good but service awful.

Stay away if u r in a rush... Food was nice n good value but service is woeful with poor attitude n very slow.

Breakfast isn't hard to do but these guys do it in a very average way.

Food- oily, heavy and made me feel ill. Service- pretentious and just after money. Don't even waste your time or money, an absolute joke of a place.

Extremely slow service. Been here since 6:30pm and still waiting at 9pm for our mains. This is ridiculous.
