The scallion pancake w/beef's the best and the hand-pulled noodles (beef tendon and stew in pic) are nicely done. Some new and special menu on the wall if you'd like to try - the Wuhan dry noodle ????
If you're intimidated by the hefty spice plate order some scallion pancakes . The order comes in little strips perfect for trying out different spices to decide which is your favorite.
Mostly beef & pork menu, the chicken fingers are actually chicken feet , not American chicken fingers . Excellent noodles , dine in preferred. Spices and sauces at tables.
Skip the sriracha and head for the chili paste . Lot's of heat and a more nuanced flavor.
Get the beef tendon soup and the steamed dumplings . Best pulled noodles ever.
Hand pull noodles and meat sauce is filling, but it will look small compared to the soup noodle dishes . It's also a little spicy .
Fresh dumplings made by hand ????????
Steamed dumplings are better than the fried. Same dumpling though yo
Great food! Delicious noodles . I could eat the noodles plain!
Steamed buns and bomb soup
Hot and spicy chicken over white rice is excellent. It's not on the menu , but ask for it.
Looks seedy but actually preety clean...noodles are worth every minute you wait for the guy...all done by hand!
Humble appearance but top notch noodles and soup !
Hole in the wall , but great cheap noodle soups - and you can watch them hand pull
Real hand pulled noodles , just like in China.
Fried dumplings are pan fried. Nothing like the Chinatown ones. Even w the same pork and chive filling as the steamed ones, for some reason taste weird and are just bad.
Steamed dumpling are better than the fried ones. Fried ones are terrible.

A really good bakery! Their cassata are really good and so far this is the only place in NYC where I found them! The cannoli are also excellent - Paolo Barone
