This is one of the funner courses in KC. It's in excellent shape and for the money it's well worth it. Not a difficult course but challenging enough.
Play the dogleg; avoid the massive tree on the far side of the fairway. Or, take the shortcut over/around the slightly less massive tree on the near side. Bring your big-boy swing to be safe.
The #1 handicap hole on the course is all about up the hill then down the hill . Get home in 2, then hope you get away with two putts. Take your par and move on!
Get as far down this wide-open fairway as you can off the tee to give yourself a long to middle iron into the green. Then, you can think quietly , "Eagle!"
Try a Hodge Dog, a grill-rolled 100% beef frank in a warm bun !
Check out the downtown KC sky line as you leave the green on #7.
Course in terrible shape summer of 2010... Not a good deal if you pay more than 20 for a round. No beverage cart on course, no yard markers at tee boxes. Cardinal hill a much better course for the $.
The opening hole can be conquered by simply finding fairway past all the trees, then attack the flag on this spacious green. - Ethan Adams
Blast your drive from an elevated tee down this short, 310-yard par 4. If you don't reach the green, get your approach close on this round, mostly flat green. - Ethan Adams
Knock the ball up the hill, but keep it below the hole. Putts from on or above the ridge are difficult to gauge properly. - Ethan Adams
Great course, well maintained, challenging but not over the top! - Greg Lowery
Great course. Plays a little tight right to left, and the greens are fast. Tip your attractive cart girl well. - AJ Robine
Great course, didn't expect it to be so well upkept in the middle of the city. Prices were really fair and had specials to fit my budget. - Andrew O'Neal
