The rooms on the left side of the reception are far better than the ones on the right. To a single traveller the biggest plus is that one can order half portions of various dishes in the room
A nice hotel with a smiling staff and a colonial building. The rooms have a dated touch as well , takes you back in time.

The service at the coffee shop always leaves a lot to be desired. But the rooms are fantastic. Very colonial , regal and elegant. Graceful overdose of wood all around.
The Heritage rooms are large and spacious !food at Veranda is to die for!

This building is old. Not upto Taj standards. We had our conference at Taj Coromandal, which was fabulous.
Super slow wifi . The staff is polite and nice but the servers in the restaurant are incompetent. I had 3 meals there and could never get a drink refilled without asking 2-3X.
The verandah is my go to place. Banquet food is so so

the 24 hr coffee shop is just awesome - its called Anise. Food is good, premium buffet - lot of healthy options. Great selection leaf tea - my favorite is jasmine green tea - K. Guru Gowrappan
