In the early 1960's The Grapes was the only pub on Matthew St. The Cavern club did not serve alcohol so The Beatles would drink in The Grapes before and after their gigs.
Inside the pub is a photograph of The Beatles sat in The Grapes. This area has been preserved with the original seat and wallpaper.
Not sure if this is a regular thing, but the place was open until 4:30 this morning!! (Monday morning/Sunday night) ~ Wow!

In the Grapes again ,atmosphere building now. Great people here.
It's a Jacks & Coke please ! The BeaTles drink.
Die Bar , in der auch die Beatles oft zu Besuch waren. Klein aber fein. Immer voll und gute Stimmung.
Dove bevevano birre dopo i concerti al Cavern Club; c'è anche una foto con targa
