The Mysore coffee comes from India and it smells and tastes as exotic as it sounds. Avoid the lowsy Starbucks next door and get yourself a cup of authentic . Love this place.
This place is the real deal! Authentic , old-school, full of locals. And most importantly, incredibly strong and tasty coffee with the best price/value correlation I have probably ever come across

Classic coffee place in Ghent. If you want to drink your coffee inside the place, you can only do it standing. Nothing hipster here, only basic plain old coffee .

I've tried to go here twice and it's impossible to get service. I just leave without coffee . Not sure how this place works obviously, but it's clear why people would still visit Starbucks nextdoor

Don't wait for Starbucks to arrive on the Korenmarkt next winter. Do try the Ice Coffee on hot days, as good as a Frappuccino at half the price!

Very unfriendly and disinterested personel (who dont take closing time too serious when its not convenient for them) ruin enjoying the nice coffee they have.

De beste koffie in Gent in een uniek kader. Een echte ontmoetingsplaats voor "locals", toeristen en andere rare kwieten. Het interieur is een must! Een koffiehuis zoals het moet zijn!
In het hoekje achteraan rechts kan je jezelf en je buren oneindig bewonderen in de spiegels al nippend van een chocomelk met slagroom in een kop die al 50 jaar gebruikt wordt.
Zonder twijfel de beste koffie in Gent en dat in een lekker ouderwets interieur. Aanschuiven bij anderen aan tafel is hier toegestaan.
In een donkere steeg, en achter de hoek zit Starbucks , maar veel Gentenaars zweren bij dit authentieke , schijnbaar eeuwenoude adres. Het is hier vaak zoeken naar een plaatsje.

Most crowded and the most vibrant plaza in Ghent when the sun is out it's a real challenge to find a good spot on the terrace. They've recently added some trees and it's a very nice extra!. - Jonas Van de Vyver
