Hidden Beach

Go alone or go with some friends. It's an amazing getaway from your troubles and tribulations and just lay in the sun and relax. And a tiny flask of Johnnie Walker is an added bonus. ;)

Nice people here, it's a sense of community, you feel pretense dissipate. We brought meat to grill but no charcoal, people offered us food and then we used their grill. We ended up all sharing food!

The drummer circle at dusk in the summer is incredible! Typically an environment of love, peace , and respect for others and their unique diversity.

The neighborhood would greatly appreciate it if you showed respect in regards to your trash. Take it with you or use the receptacles at the beach .

Voted Best Beach by City Pages in 2010. More than any other lakeshore in the Twin Cities , Hidden Beach functions exactly as a beach should: a place to chill , both literally and figuratively.

It is not hidden. In fact, it is very well marked. Prepare to park a few blocks away and to be subjected to a variety of music .

My favorite beach , but probably not a great idea to swim across the lake . Popular but dangerous. Witnessed a drowning there today.

Come early to get a good spot. Honestly, there isn't a bad spot! :-)

Alcohol is not allowed per city law. Authorities do patrol, so be aware. Tickets run +$130.

I thought this place was hidden, there are tons of hippies here. Worst beach in the TC area
