Best coffee in Bay Area. No jokes. You won't ever want to go to Starbucks or Peet's (sic!) after Philz. Wide variety of light and medium roasts. For those who prefer burnt beans there are choices also

Start with a Tesora then work your way darker/lighter to find your favorite. Single cup brewing takes time. Be patient! It's worth the extra time. The cookies are awesome: try the candied popcorn one.

Best coffee in the Bay Area. People used to talk about BB until it was bought. I’ve been to sightglass and others but Philz is the best.

I'm a fan of the Dancing Water, but I can't imagine that if you pick a range of roast that suits your palate you will be disappointed. I'm in town about 6 times a year & make sure it's near a Philz.

This is a very popular Philz. It is always busy. Many people do their work here while having their coffee .

This place seems to always be packed! The wait's pretty long, but I'm trying the Mint Mojito Iced Coffee as per the recommendation of every live Yelper. Definitely worth the wait :)

This place is great for us rare, non-coffee drinkers too! Try the green mint herbal tea with a little brown sugar--it's delicious!
