The Lab Gastropub

The spinach dip is a must-order. So melty and creamy, & the baked "pita chips " are like none other. Refill the chips for $2. Huge beer selection with great prices. Not many healthy menu items though.

First timers love the Lab because it's open and airy, clean and very SC. The service is slow but thoughtful, and the food yum. People either love or hate the Lab

Cant decide and dont want to think ? their Steak skirt with chimi sauce medium rare and their fish tacos are pretty darn good!

The Lab Trojan Brown Ale has a nice bite, close to New Castle . Prefer the Boddingtons on tap !

Came before the USC vs. Fresno State game. The game tacos were a little spicy but good.

They play great music and I LOVE the tile. Also- Panko Portobello Fries are incred.

Don't ask for extra pita chips if you get the spinach dip - they charge you $2.00 extra! (Although the dip is fabulous!)

It's close to school and offers a decent selection. Has average to above average food, but I'd come here mostly for the bar . Not really a "gsstropub", despite the name, and lacks whiskey and scotch .

A staple for young USC babies. Within walking distance from the school and that's the only reason to go

Don't tip the mean young waiter who's there during happy hour . We all know who I'm talking about.

Food here is good. Only thing that's horrible is the service. During busy hours, it took them 30 min to serve me beer at the bar . there were 4 people behind the bar , 1-2 were actually serving.

Every time I come here they have a new menu.

Don't lose sight of your waiter , they take at least 10 mins to reappear once they've slipped away into the back room. The braised lamb shank 's awesome tho!

Worst service ever! Burgers and calamari are great but the service made it all suck. Came before concert , and the line to be sat was around the corner while only 1/4 inside was sat.

Buff chx wrap has too much sauce, ask for it all on the side! Or ask them to do it easy :)

Haraszthy Zinfandel ... It's a must try! Yummy!

Food is very good, service is not. Be aware of college waitstaff who think courteous service means taking your order and processing your credit card.

Sit out on the patio if it's nice out.

I suggest the pork belly tacos and a shot!

Service was slow. Staff were clueless. You could mistake it for the nearest children's playground .

Bizarre service, borderline unprofessional. Our waiter Christian knew nothing about the menu. Food was decent though.

Update: Christian blew it. Poor service is an understatement.

Here's a tip, don't eat here if you're in a rush, the service and speed of service is not the best
