When school is in it's a crowded mess. Any other time of year it's cozy . Good prices. Good beers on tap . Poor movie selection. ET and Schindler's List should never be on at a bar .

Great for college-age people! The bartenders are also really efficient - even when it's pretty busy, they say it's not that busy!!

This is likely the best bar near Columbia where a cool crowd comes to booze it up while playing darts , pool, and an assortment of drinking games. Almost has Lower East Side dive feel. Cheap drinks !!!

Wednesdays - Late Night Happy Hour 10pm until 2am

One of the best bars in NYC if you ignore some of the academia that fill it up. Good drinks, darts , and you can order in chinese or pizza and relax. Awesome.

Come here any day of the week from 4-8p and it's a chill dive with some of the cheapest (good) beer in the city . Come here outside those hours and having a 19 year-old puke on you is highly probable.

Ask the bartender for a joke or a riddle. The most amazing dad jokes you've ever heard. Come for happy hour .

Trivia on Tuesdays is always great

Basically my "Cheers". Unpretentious bar with good prices, affable staff and a crowd of committed regulars, plus the odd cute and interesting Columbia girl. Come by some time and pay respects.

Look up at the TV screen . There is always something strange playing: Xena, Little House on the Prairie, Porn...you'll always be surprised

Ray, the best bartender ever, is there on Sundays. I highly recommend going there in the afternoon when it's not as crazy.

Was harassed by the bartender to order another drink within 30 minutes of ordering our first drink or we would have to leave. She then gave our table to a group of her friends. Auto-gratuity too. 0/10

To reserve a booth on weekends, you have to pledge your firstborn to serve as a steward for eight full winters.

I doubt there is a soul alive who will call this bar "good," but there's something delightfully comfortable about its dark, loud , crowded dive bar character.

Bartenders here are good peeps so tip well . If your bartender is male call him Tim - 2 of the guys are named Tim so you'll be right about half the time.
