In Oct 2011, this park hosted one of our Out of the Darkness Community Walks to raise money for vital research, education and outreach programs for suicide prevention. For more info, visit afsp.org
The playgrounds get busier in the late afternoons in the summer. They're usually empty mid-morning.
Great park for running! Good trail . Decent hills . Not crowded .
Great place to cut through to beat traffic.
Plenty of soccer pick up games if you're interested. Also tennis courts are pretty open as well
Parking is always sketchy .
Try near the mansion or up the hill past the gazebo for good places to picnic .
Great running/walking trail .
Do not under any circumstance park there after dark. You will get a ticket and a mandatory court appearance.
