Hearty breakfast . The biscuit was buttery and melts in your mouth. Definitely go with an empty stomach because the proportions are massive.
To avoid major FOMO, go sharsies on a chorizo hash with scrambled eggs & a desayuno tipico with fried eggs . The waiter may have to wrestle the plates off you to stop you lickin' them clean ....
Nicky's Polenta goes south of the border with the addition of salsa ranchero and black beans , while a side of stir-fried veggies and cabbage salad helps this dish err on the side of healthy.
The polenta and veggies are amazing even for the biggest meat eater.
The food was not only delicious but it was also plated very nicely.. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive.. I would definitely go back ????????
Best thing not on the menu : nickys polenta , sub scrambled eggs for polenta . Veggie and protein explosion! Soooo good!
The Boogaloos Basic is yummy and made with vegetarian gravy . I love the chorizo n' eggs and chorizo hash . I always HAVE to have the polenta .
The pancakes are delicious. Definitely some of the best I have had on the west coast.
Fantastic local breakfast spot . Get any dish with polenta ! Also, lines form quickly- get there early!
Yummy dinner . Pernil asado was so nicely marinated. Yams and plantains also great. Quick, cheerful and good value
Lovely, lovely staff and the polenta 'n' eggs is a dish I'll be thinking about for a while
The best breakfast/brunch food I had while I was in San Fran! Make sure to ads avocados to whatever you order!
Everything except the service is great. Never seem to refill drinks. The line is worth the wait for a great breakfast .
Amazing brunch , totally worth the wait. Be sure to share the combo.
Everything on the menu is delicious, but I highly recommend the zydeco breakfast with a plate of fruit .
It's a special variety of diner food , perfectly done.
Add your name to the list by the door to claim your spot in line !
Food: great! Ambiance: great! Espresso : not great. Stick to drip coffee here and get your cappuccinos elsewhere :-)
Fantastic Vegan and Vegetarian options with Mexican flair.
They raised their prices but haven't bothered to print new menus. So expect to pay 20% more than what's listed on the menu. The prices on their website are correct as of writing this.
I don't always get vegan food , but when I do, I get soyrizo and eggs with a side of avocado .
Can't decide? Order the Burrito Desayuno and add Chorizo . Two-fer!
Such good food. And extremely generous portions . Come early or be patient!
Very good non-meat options for you conscientious objectors...
Nice little breakfast joint in the mission. Over crowded and busy. Worth it if you can get in quickly.
One of the first lines where the food was worth the wait. And this was a good 7 years ago. Still good today.
The breakfast potatoes are full of seasoning and are so delicious. Can't improve upon them
One of the cheapest and heartiest bfast spots in town . Temple o ’ spuds is ????????????????
Fresh squeezed OJ mimosas are a rarity in this city , just do one!
Huevos rancheros some of the best I've ever had.
Good luck getting a spot after 9 on a weekend. Go for the early morning weekday and get the chorizo .
Wow. Soyrizo hash & eggs (sub tofu for eggs ) is an amazing vegan breakfast .
Soyrizo hash is a great vegan option
Order a grilled plantain cake or just get it by ordering the Desayuno Tipico
Specializes in classic American breakfast and lunch staples with a south of the border slant plus plenty of veggie and vegan options .
Whatever this thing was, it was f'ing delicious.
If you have the option, get a side of fruit - they're very generous!
soyrizo dishes are delicious!
Grab a booth for great people/hipster watching. Hipsters are people, too;)
Can get busy at breakfast and not great for massive groups. Turns into a slightly less-busy pop-up at night.
French toast was good, eggs were good, coffee tastes like gas station coffee . Definitely a nice art ambiance
For $4 you can add unltd coffee and mimosa or OJ to any meal ????
Get the Huevos , leave happy.
Brekkie Burro: Chorizo , Avocado , Jalapeños
Get the chorizo hash . The best thing ever. Hands down

Best breakfast in the Mission.
Best brunch spot I've found in San Francisco. Reliably delicious and totally worth the wait. Just wish they had a Bloody Mary .
The soy-rizo is da bomb. Goes well with the buttermilk pancakes .
