With most visits service has been unfriendly, though on my last visit the person was nice. They're behind bullet-proof glass, which is now very out-of-context for the neighborhood .
A decent neighborhood liquor store with good selection of beer and wine .
Very expensive club soda (no seltzer ) at $1.75/liter (as of Oct 2013). You can get it for 50-99 cents a few shops away at Capitol Supermarket .
Head to the back for the craft brews
