Aéroport Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) 77990 Mauregard France
Wi-Fi | Yes |
Security line is super quick; once you get through there are very limited stores, aka 1 store and 1 coffee shop . Enjoy shopping and lounge access as long as you can before your getting to your gate!
Pay attention to your right when first entering the airport and driving to terminal 1. There is a beautiful Concorde, symbol of France's aeronautical greatness, mounted on the grass as if taking off!
Very limited selections of shopping. Especially magazines and books . Better shop in town . Call and book Taxi G7 for your ride from the city . They are quiet reliable!
This terminal has a cool spiral shape, quick service and very secure. There's also free sponsored wifi (every other airport should start doing the same as a plus, we are in 2014 after all)
Beautifully designed and really unique interior, but the security has only few lines , so queues can be long. Sometimes you will need to reverse down stairs after reaching the end of automated floor.
Still a classic - great architecture , fascinating design, and the multilevel atrium with tubular travellators is just fun. Definitely an airport to have a closer look at.
Like being in a 1960 movie about the future. Love the treadmills connecting different wings.
Check in early and take the CDG Shuttle to the other terminals to eat and shop pre-security. And the famous Paul chain kiosk in Term 2 train station is excellent French patisserie to go (great bread )
The only food in Brussels Airlines boarding area (gates 70-78) is Brioche Doree.
Watch out! When you go through THE FIRST security, you are not done. Don't approach you're gate until you are fed and watered - nothing much on the far side...
One of the worst and most confusing terminal of the world. Food court is in the basement level 2, one level lower than arrival
Get here early. Definitely the best duty free shopping in the world! ????
Now at gate 50 to 5x u have somking room and new shop great boarding gate the other no smoking place except main central shopping
An absolute dump of the highest order
Monday 8am, access n1 fast track line longer than normal police control immigration. Just one counter open. What is the point?
And when you think it can't get any worse since you have seen all akward airport lounges on planet earth (including the LH shared lounge at AMS Schiphol), you enter the LH dungeon at CDG T 1 Cont.
Forget about tax refund, you will miss your flight. If u r transiting in Europe, do the refund during transit
Really easy to get by RER and cheap . Just get the Shuttle.
Be prepared to wait in lines for everything including the bathroom , getting food, and being packed like sardines.
Dirty , inconvenient, rude security staff , limited options for shopping and food, a terminal to avoid by all means. Sorry CDG, terminal 1 us a disgrace in an overall dated and ugly airport
Slightly awkward and small terminal. The staff is very kind. Be sure to arrive in advance, sometimes things are hard to find.
With the new pablo machines...detax queues are very short and efficient now. Well done Paris.
They didn't let cheese in the carry on on the plane. They told that the cheese is considered to be cream. Staff was rude and careless. Duty free is very small, literally 1 shop and cafe with a queue ????
Laduree is now open here! Though I'd prefer Pierre Herme...????
Beautiful architecture , circular so don't get lost.
The oldest and the shittiest terminal of them all.
Pure 70s. Few shops, so do your shopping before belts downstairs. Better in other terminals.
Capuccino and not to many shops :)
One of my favorite Terminals ! So 70ish. ;-)
Security lines long. Boarding announcements are limited. Screen shows flight on time. But flight was 35 minutes delayed. Take elevator to -1 for Lufthansa lounge . Few stores. Not a good experience.
There is not so much options to choose as far as shopping or bistro ... little bit disappointed
Out dated airport . Only good thing is that security can go very fast.
clean and comfortable organized terminal
Very easy and smooth check- in and security. Very little as way as snacks / drinks after security
TheSaddest thing about cheese , that they didn't provide any documents to proof that it cannot be in your carry on.All my friends had brought it in their carry on before.Had to throw it away. Miserable
small, compact, and not much stores to browse!! oh, thanks for the internet kiosk with first fifteen minutes free
I wished there were more stores and nice cafes with decent seating places while waiting for a delayed flight
Very bad place. Tiny and dirty . Prefer the T2
Plz be there before 3 hour. 2 hour is not enough at all for check in and immigration
Ridiculous!!! 6$ for a bottle of water... It,s only when you get there that you notice that there's only that little over over priced joint. Impossible to connect to I P via the Internet hub...
Mostly used by Star Alliance airlines , including Lufthansa, SAS and Swiss. It’s quite bad
Turkish airlines is at hall 3-terminal 1. it takes 45 euros to go to paris opera by taxi .
It's like middle of nowhere. Forgotten land. Eat, shop and SMOKE before you reach the gates.
There is a post office when you go downstairs and self service computers allowing printing
Should have more shops and restaurants in the terminal. But quite happy with the fast flow tax refund queue. There are 2 booths for cash refund!
They've started opening more shops here but still better eating options before proceeding to embarkation gate.
T 1 made a big step forward with the recent improvements after the, well , redesigning. Still, it's an outdated concrete nightmare which does not match Lufthansa's quality standards at all.
Get to airport around 4 hours before your schedule departure if you are intending to get detaxe. Customs stamping is quick but getting cash from travelex is pretty slow
United has no kiosk check-in available. You also cannot check in more than 3 hours in advance.
Charles de Gaule is a Fantastic airport ! I felt me very good qith all services. Tip: go with bus to Downtown of Paris , is very cheap
This is from here that you can access the main UFO secret base in Europe. - Yves Mathieu
The small takeaway cups are 8.10 € a pair - great gift, great memory. - Johan Lange
