LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!! Feels like you're being transported into a whole different country . Not super crowded I feel like it's almost a little hidden gem in LA.So excited to come back and explore more!
A Los Angeles gem and a “must do” for any visitor or local. Plan to spend at least half a day here exploring the various gardens (where many movies have been filmed ) and the historic mansion.
Beautiful! Took my mother who hates to pay for anything and said it was best $20 she ever spent! That is saying a lot! Suggest to go spring and fall. Summer was brutally hot so don't go then!
Make time for Everything: Library , Museum & Botanical Gardens . Check Online or Tips for free admission "donation"/ parking . Advanced reservations for the Tea Room . Sack lunches / picnics are cool too!
Gardens , museums are all worth visiting though it takes more than one day to see all on offer. Have lunch at the museum restaurant . Don't overlook the Remarkable Works, Remarkable Times exhibit .
It worth spending a full day over there kids and we had great time there. Try to go when weather is cool as u gonna walk a lot. Interactive museum and botanical lab for kids.
Best place in Pasadena. Stunning gardens and immaculate art . Get a memberships as it easily pays for itself with early morning entry, summer music evenings and lectures.
Beautiful gardens . The desert garden was blooming and was especially breathtaking. Great museums and architecture . Too much to see in a day. I would become a member if I lived closer.
My favorite: The Chinese garden ; 2nd: European art gallery with paintings by Monet, Van Gogh, etc.. 3rd place, the Japanese garden and the scones at the café :) allow 4 hrs minimum
Not only is the library here simply fantastic, but the grounds are so magical that seemingly every third movie you see has scenes shot on their grounds. Thousands of great places to read here!
Often bypassed because of the location is the Chinese Garden . The accompanying poem map / telling its story in the library enhances the experience. Find it like a quest.
Plan to spend the whole day there; so much variety. You'll want the time to soak up each garden and art collection ..food and drink!
Give yourself more time than you think you will need, the gardens are massive. And don’t skip the gift shop !
The Palm Garden at The Huntington Library remains relatively unknown. Here, you'll walk in the presence of over 200 species of palms , one of the largest collections on public display in California.
Wonderful gardens that are perfect for a stroll, and a small but interesting art collection that is worth a visit.
Free admission on the first Thursday of every month with advance tickets, which can be reserved online or by phone.
Become a member and enter all year free with a guest. Try out the High Tea Room for lunch while you are there. Reservations for High Tea are a must in advance.
Get a membership, because you have to come here multiple times to see everything - the gardens , the museum , the exhibitions ....
The tea was great and soooo filling. We have some to bring home!!
Deserves a solid afternoon here. Don't miss the peaceful Japanese Garden and art collections .
The botanical gardens are expansive with incredibly diverse specimens and great attention to color and composition throughout the landscape. Library 's "Beautiful Science" exhibition is a new favorite.
Best in Spring and Fall. Summer gets a bit too hot and in Winter, everything's hibernating and they use the chance to close things down and do work for Spring.
Buy a membership. It's tax deductible and you will return often as well as renew your membership. YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE ❤️

Beautiful place. Check out the Japanese and botanical gardens !
Beautiful grounds and amazing collections. Go early, you can't see it all in one day!
The Getty on steroids! No other garden will compare once you've been here but their "upgrading" is taking away the charm of the eateries .
The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens is one of the largest and most complete research libraries in the United States and includes a copy of the Gutenberg Bible
Came here for the last 40 minutes of it being open and it was worth every penny. Brutally lovely.

Great place a high tea and a walk through a variety of different ecosystems.
The grounds are so large that it's nearly impossible to see everything in a single day.
The whole place is spectacular, but I'm particularly partial to the cactus garden , which looks like it's a set from a low-budget sci-fi movie .
Beautiful gardens . Wonderful museum collection.
Featuring a museum , beautiful sprawling gardens and some of SoCal's best contemplative spaces, the Huntington is a must-see!
A gorgeous place to propose! I helped my friend set up a marriage proposal at the "Love Gazebo " and he surprised his fiance with a gorgeous A Jaffe ring - from @RobbinsBrothers.
The cactus gardens are in bloom right now. Check out the winding path above the sub-tropical gardens and follow the waterfall .
