This place is cute , chilled and friendly . It has free wifi (bit patchy in parts of the cafe ) and a wonderful selection of teas , coffees and cakes . Well worth a visit if you've got postcards to write!
Nice café with vegetarian food . The lasagna is really good value , the portion is massive and it comes with garlic bread and salad . Try their cheesecake ! Quite friendly staff as well .
Meeting, coffee and you have to try cheesecake ıt was excellent.Nice atmosphere and cute place. You can see all tale heroes everywhere.Decoration is successful.Liked it????
Chilled lounge with super comfortable seating and a funky interior. House white could be a bit less sweet, but the beer hit the spot. As did the couch . Now to try to get up!
Love the way the place was set up,very artistic yet cozy feeling. Even the washroom was clean and uniquely decorated !!!!! A must place to come when in Rekjyavik
Extremely cozy cafe close to the main church . Simply grab a coffee and take a seat on one of the sofas upstairs. Living room experience.
Friendly staff , used to dealing with kids. The upstairs is a better set up to seat and entertain kiddos. Coffee and breakfast food were both good.
Famous for it's cheesecake . Enjoyed the panini that comes with a side salad . Very touristic but nice place. Free water, coffee and wifi .
Fantastic vegan carrot cake and apple crumble. The place is cool too, it is a little different than the norm here, trendy vibe.
one of the best cheesecakea i had in my life (and i lived in New York, believe me). espresso is too weak.
Adorable and quaint- perfect for an afternoon coffee . The lemon sugar crepe melts in your mouth...
Looked cute . When you try to order something from the menu and you ask them to leave an item out the answer you get is; no we can't do that. All is pre prepared.Had a great breakfast a few blocks down
Hot chocolate is amazing. The entire place smells like the inside of a carrot cake . Must stop in while in Reykjavik.
Café Babalú is my first pick when I'm looking for a cozy place where I can feel right at home and I love going there for chill moments.
Neat and cool little place, one of the few "gay" places in Reykjavik. Nice selection of cakes for an afternoon snack ...
The grilled cheese with tomato soup is delicious and hearty! Coffee is good, too!
Very nice apple crumples and free flow of coffee ... with good ambient
Cozy , eclectic , lots of character, great menu, and chocolate chip cooooookies!
Super cozy place, nice coffee options , friendly staff , but over-rated carrot cake !
Very tasty and not expensive place for lunch . Great veggie lasagna ! A visit to the toilet is a must ;-)
Really pretty and cozy , perfect for a cup of tea and a slice of cake ! Great staff , laid back atmosphere and cute terrace too!
Such a cozy spot !! Bring a board game , order some vegan carrot cake and hot cocoa and go upstairs
Incredibly cozy cafe with board games , books , an array of comfy couches and chairs, and lovely baristas.
Kaffi with free refills, great cheap (non-)vegetarian meals, nice view upstairs, interior a little gaudy :)
Cute atmosphere, lazy food. Don’t be tempted by the tomato soup and grilled cheese combo, unless you really like the taste of canned tomato soup .
Best coffee bar I've been in Iceland (which doesn't mean they know how to do a proper expresso ).
Coffee with free refill for 350 isk and loads of power plugs for your electronic equipment. Plus, nice atmosphere and good service .
Come for the coffee , skip the meal. It’s nothing bad - I think I was just expecting more based on the Foursquare rating. Nice people, eclectic space.
Hot chocolate and swiss mocha is really good. Banana bread not so much. Pretty cool place to hangout and people watch .
Beautiful, hippie place. Had a great lamb soup , not best coffee .
The chocolate crepe is incredible! And they have great organic juices
The Vegan Carott Cake is awesome ! And the place is really cosy, my new spot for next months in Reykjavik.
Awesome and super cozy place. Nice sandwiches and soup but don't order coffee if you are true coffee lover.
Very cozy , off the beaten path but not by much. A local spot you'll be happy you stopped by.
Cosy place with vegan carrot cake . It probably has a million calories — but who counts anyway? Perfect after lunch at Gló.
Looks good on the paper but not very in the stomach. Hot chocolate is made with water and carrot cake is a disappointment with a lookout if cream. Apple crumble is more a crumble with trace of apples .
Great service, good prices. Try sweet or salty creppes and great coffees . Nice enviroment.
Very relaxed café , fun staff and you get to pick your own cup for your coffee !
Tomato Soup and grilled cheese as well as spinach crepe . Nice lunch . Cool place.
A must visit. This little cafe is friendly , relaxed and looks like a living room. Pop in for a coffee or a hot chocolate .
Warm, friendly cafe with a Star Wars themed toilet . Lasagne or grilled cheese are both great choices.
Ordered the special. Love the decor and vibe. Cozy . Would definitely come back!!!
The tomato soup is really pretty great(creamy) but I'm basically a tomato soup addict I'm biased.
Cute cafe with a cozy interior and friendly service !
Such a unique, lively and cozy place!
Great soup and bread cafe . Bathroom is out of this world
Coffee as well and the donuts are good
Very friendly staff and great cakes ! Nutella cheesecake yum yum
One of my favorite cafés in town . Try their soups !
Seriously delicious tomato soup . Cozy and kitschy . And free wifi !
I had a mocha and an organic plain cake. Simply delicious and very cozy too. Good to think about the exposition that you just visited on a near by museum. - Raphael Barreto
Great service, atmosphere and the food is terrific. ‘Best burger ever’ according to our boys! Oh, and the beer is very good too! - Derek Watson
Best breakfast around. Little pricey from when converting to USD, but worth it. - Josh Mateo
The architecture is one of a kind and you can go to the top for about 8 USD. - Eric Tsai
Amazing building inside and out. Interesting shops and cafe areas. Worth even just a wander through to get a look at the incredible structure from the inside! - Justin
The hype is real: those hot dogs are really good and worth the wait, even on cold days! - Julie L
