Los Gorditos

Still one of the best Mexican places in Portland after all these years. Don't be filled by the modern look - they started in a food cart and have been able to expand on quality alone. Gotta try it.

One of my favorite places in town . Whether you eat meat, are a vegetarian , or a vegan , you'll find ridiculously tasty tacos . Their habanero sauce is killer. Ditto the soy curl burritos .

Specific menus for meat , vegetarian , and vegan . Free sauces bar and ice water. Order to go and take your food next door to Apex and enjoy cold brews with your delicious food. Shrimp taco was the best!

Ok, food wise - meats are great, they offer a Vegan version of most things on the menu, and also have authentic Mexican dishes like Sopes & Chilaquiles . So far, everything is legit.

What a fresh tasting Mexican-food establishment. I love all the salsas . My Soyrizo burrito was the best burrito I've ever had. Way to go Portland for having awesome places to eat.

Had the fish burrito with avocado . It was outstanding. A good size for a filling lunch . The grilled fish with the avocado added in tasted creamy and crisp

I had a bean and cheese burrito with chicken and it was delicious. I know Portland doesn’t have a lot of good Mexican places but hot damn. Los Gorditos is amazing.

Being a vegetarian , I love the separate menus , but the torta doesn't work with soy chorizo . The salsas were fresh and good, I'd give this place a solid 6 out of 10 for it's offerings.

Got lucky and first Mexican food joint we try and it's awesome and only a few blocks from home. Couldn't ask for more!

If you're vegetarian or vegan , this is the place to go for lunch . Omnivores, you still have some great options here too.

One of the best carne asada burritos portland has to offer. Mine wasn't tightly wrapped, so I advise eating it out of its foil.

Even if you aren't vegan the vegan burritos are worth trying. Both the soyrizo and soy curls are awesome.

The soyrizo burrito is AMAZING... And the burritos are huge so try not to eat the whole thing even though it's delicious.

The $4 bean & cheese burrito here should be holy grail of cheap PDX eats. It's great for lunch .

It's okay. I got a chile rellano burrito . Maybe it's just because I don't like the way they grilled them, but I didn't really enjoy my burrito much. It wasn't *bad*, but below average to my tastes.

No heat on a cold day, generally dirty inside, food was ordinary
