Actually, it is not legal to bring you'd pets on the beach . It is also a wildlife preserve. I've seen dogs attack a child, baby seal, birds and a turtle . Also pet owners can get ticketed.
Great place to have a couple of drinks and relax during off season. In the summer the place is packed so get there early-don't forget to bring money to park . There are snack stands and restrooms open
The water is cold, but not impossible to swim in. Ignore parking near the bath houses and park by the canal . Walk along the jetty, you're at the far end of the beach . Much less crowded .
Set camping reservations in Dec & Jan for June & July. Excellent location, beach , canal , bike path , close to plymouth & cape cod attractions . If you come with rv, sewer tote advised.. No sewer hook up
Only 5 tent sites. Sites 4 and 5 are the best. Book early!!
Colder water here, but normally very clear water.
Perfection at the end of a 7 mile bike ride .
Get here early on the weekends during beach season or you'll be out of luck when the lot is full.
The best place to set up your umbrella and chair is on the sand.
Go in the fall and bring your dogs out on the rocks-they jet out into the water-so peaceful !
Great beach , water is refreshing and is clear!
Best after labor day
Super fun and family friendly. Not crowded and very beautiful. - A M
Very Rocky. Not necessarily the best beach for little ones (lots of beer cans, fire pits, cigars, etc) - Dave Lievense
The view of the canal from the top of the bridge is breathtaking. There's a sidewalk and I recommend taking a stroll. The traffic is scary and loud, but it's very safe. - Rafał Rzepecki
Lobster roll is one of the more expensive on the Cape, but it is delicious and has plenty of lobster meat on a buttered hot dog roll. Served with French fries. Cash only. - Greg G
