Oldest press club in the nation, but as popular with attorneys and Industry folk as with reporters . Good drink prices & friendly staff .

Neat little out of the way place for poetry. They still have ashtrays on every table (but people still go outside to smoke)

The corner bar of clubs, and you don't have to be a journalist to join. Convivial crowd, great variety of events . Things get lively after the restaurants close.

Legend says there's a brass plaque @ a prominent spot in Philly, over the till, that reads, to the 'tenders. "P&P: Always a Bad Idea." It is. But it's an institution, a privilege. Straight Philly. Go.

Kim Elliott

Unique experience. Great people!

Angie K

you must show a pay stub or 'clock in' card to prove you work in the restaurant industry and you must get there by 3!

Jay

Tried to get in here for a wrap party and because it was 5 minutes past 3 they slammed the door in my face and would hear me out. Last time I'll be coming here.

Vidas

The P&P is a private club , but it's pretty easy to talk your way inside. The bar allows smoking and is cash only . Keep an eye out for the free hot dogs cooking in the crock pot.

Scott Allan

Get the alcohol . It will make you smile.
