You'd never expect to find such a great spot in this area of SF but it exists and it's worth the trip, even if you don't drink beer . Great taste flights.

tina huang

by far the coolest taproom concept and execution of a speakeasy-style place I've seen! bartenders have always been great, super helpful. favorites are Scarlett (Amber ale ) and Metropolis (lager )

Scott Perket

Cool speakeasy style bar with a big booth room and a large table room for big groups. The beer is awesome. Take a tour if you can. Funny and you get a pint glass and beer flight .

Sef

I came from out of town to buy some xmas gifts . I felt very greated from the moment I walked in. favorite place everytime I come to SF from now on!

Brian Van Horn

The tap room is really nice and well themed. I'm surprised that no other beer or alcohol company tried to do the prohibition era before these guys did! Super cool event , worth the vip prices.

Corrie Davidson

It may not be the bed part of town , but you'll forget your surroundings when you step into the highly detailed prohibition-era taproom . Beautifully appointed plus a brewery with a great story.

Markeda Cottonham

The big daddy and black hand is a knockout. Strong , great tasting beers at great prices. Outdoor seating as well as indoor. Dogs and kids welcomed on the patio !

Nedra

Great beer , they always have amazing food vendors, great spot to chill or watch a game.

The tour is totally worth the experience, and the beer is never as fresh as it is inside the brewery . Definitely check it out if you get the chance.

There’s often a Friday-only special brewmaster beer on tap that you can’t buy in stores. If you’re real lucky it’ll be some variation on the bourbon chip porter we had here once. Read more

A little south of downtown - check out what those "sneaky" eyes mean on the side of their bottles. We recommend the Payback Porter !

Greg Schechter

Great tap room for this brewery . Go on a Friday after work and get one of their strong dark beers .

Errol Reyes

Forgot the name but the highest alcohol content (9.5) was really good. Their beers vary in taste.

Go to their Friday 4-9pm happy hour (the only time they're open?). Get there at 4 if you want a tour , too.

Chris H.

The tour is lame. Not worth the trip out to Bayview. And the bar area is way too cramped.

Mariciel

Don't rent their private rooms, it's such a rip off. They have crappy service and the bartenders are rude. People should wait until the actual brewery is open cuz the people in the tap room suck!

Rick Von Feldt

Sunday afternoons.

Bamby Wallingford

First time here. Not very friendly .
