BYOB , good curries and good value . Fish Karahi , bottles of Thornbridge pale ales from the Dram shop or The Hallamshire, amazing.
Found the take away lamb Karai about 3X hotter than the restuarant version. it had lots and lots of chopped green chillis in it. Got some chums that order currys "desi' strenth but i struggled.
Best Indian takeaway by far. Must try the adjoining restaurant one of these days!
The Chicken kasmir dish. Has banana in it. Lots in fact. Its a pretty poor dish.Avoid try some of the other v tasty meals instead

Great pub, lovely staff and atmosphere. Full size snooker table in the back bar. Taste the Kipling before you buy, when it's on form it's amazing but can vary quite a lot. - Sam M
