This is my neighborhood bar when I'm in South Austin on W. Slaughter. (I'm more a NYC guy though born in TX and family in ATX. But no tips on here for 4 years???

Love this place! Just a small correction on the steak night tip: $15 gets you a steak and either a baked potato or a salad , not both. They charge $20 if you want both.

Ask for Beth, she the only server there that actually is good at her job, and she's super sweet!! But other then her, the staff is pretty incompetent. But the burgers and most of the food is great.

Come to steak nights on Thursdays! Delicious hand-cut ribeyes with potato or salad for $15 (cash only ). Jay cooks the best steak in town !

The bartenders , waitstaff , and even Sammy are hot as shit. Chris&Adam are frail and scrawny, but okay;) Anyways, don't complain about the wait or the service b/c it's probably just you. Tip better!!????

Adam the bar manage is a stiff. He is all about the numbers behind the business and not concerned about the customer experience, aka the businesses greatest asset.

The waitresses are great! But the Bartender Amy (tat down her left side from her neck to arm) is bitchy and very rude! Watch out cause her bite is full of venom but never on target.
