Great restaurant and beautiful rooms! It's like living in a garden oasis looking out over San Jose . Beatrice (sous chef ) makes amazing gallo pinto breakfasts and the coffee is harvested on site.
Do the coffee tour ! Ulises is a great guide, and you will definitely have a greater appreciation for Costa Rican coffee afterwards. Quality, not quantity.
A beautiful coffee estate which has amazing accommodations and the coffee tours are very educational . The coffee itself is excellent! Food and service are par excellence.

The "baby back ribs " on the lunch menu is a colossal meal - unfinishable. Properly huge hunk of pork , you'll need a lie down afterwards.
The spa is an ugly building but Pablo is an EXCELLENT massage therapist , good value too, $95/hour, and he went over!
Take the coffee tour - very educational and fun. Mannolo is a fantastic guide.
The restaurant closes at 10pm. If you know you'll be arriving late ask for a cold plate of fruits and cheeses to be placed in your room for when you arrive.

If you want a room with wifi ask to be in the main house rather than the villas
The nachos are down as an appetiser . They are ENORMOUS! Awesome.

Nice suburban hotel convenient to many (expensive) restaurants. Walmart across the street. Great place if your heading toward Cartago, the Caribbean, or Cerro de la Muerte. Great breakfast included. - Denise Pahl
