Originally built as a butcher 's shop. Look out for the studs on the ceiling where the meat hooks used to hang. Great real ales .
A proper Local with friendly staff , friendly regulars and a small beer garden . Cask ales were well kept , with four available when I visited, and the scrumpy was excellent.
A local feel, which is cosy and the service is good.
