For those of you moaning about 24 hour opening times - it's not difficult. The shop has restricted opening hours on Sundays, like every other similar shop in the UK, because of Sunday trading laws.
Just before christmas jam packed with loads of customers doing a bit of last minute shopping! Great customer service and very helpful. There was enough items of stock in display and easy to navigate
Open 24hrs except Sundays. Has a lot of things, shame the workers expect everyone to use self-service tills because they can't be bothered to do the work on the tills themselves.
This is a miserable Tesco extra. The entrance, car park and trolley area is poorly lit at night and it always feels closed even when it is open after the shopping centre closes.
If you have a lot of change and don't want to pay a small commission to turn them into notes, you can use them by dumping them into the huge coin slots at the self-checkout counters. Quite fun too!
This place is a living hell. Tesco also need to supply more small size trolleys - not quite everyone shopping here is feeding 9 kids.
Why is it that no matter how big a supermarket in London is, "Open 24 Hours " actually means "Closes in the evening at weekends"?
Cheap well equipped friendly opticians at the back. Free eye tests too :-)
I think they have the biggest selection of goods of all the Tescos in SE London.
There's a posh bakery bit at the far back.
Nice big tesco for food shopping and more.
Lookout for special offers at the end of the aisles
Good luck getting any FRESH fruit and veg . Empty shelves and out-of-date the norm here.
Super good selection
The store itself is nice, but stay far away from the pharmacy because it's a giant piece of time wasting, ineffective s**t hole. Every time I go there, I'm left with bad service and rude attitudes.
It is a massive Tesco, though it claims to open 24 hours , it closes at 10pm on Sat and 4pm on Sun.
Cheap , well organised
Don't use the Coinster machine, but simply drop your coins in the automatic feeder at the self check-out stations
There's a Coinstar machine in this Tesco; use it to change your coins to notes (for a small commission of course).
Always got what ya need
You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
AMEX cardholder special not available at this store. Frustrating as I went there especially. Rather misleading and no info available explaining why.
All the employees are wearing a suit!
Awful place. Try and go early or late to miss the constant overcrowding.
Don't go on sat & sun. Sooooo busy!!!
Don't go late in the evening unless you don't mind waiting in the queues at the limited open checkouts
You always have to hunt down baskets. The staff don't restack them
They sell booze until midnight
Be careful. Some machine at the self service area doesn't print receipt. I was not allow out because I couldn't show my receipt?!
Shopping during the weekend sux
This store is hell, too big, too busy & managers are crap.. On plus side , try to avoid it & shop elsewhere.
Its hell here on a Sunday afternoon
Reduced to clear is at far end of aisle 24
Tesco closes at 5pm on Sundays.
Horrible customer service... But then again that's why this place is cheap
although tiny, this Lidl has all the essentials for a very good price. a lot of the store brands are very high quality. for more variety, try Waitrose. - Iz Chang
Good selection of groceries, home goods a bit more limited compared to other branches. - Stephen ????????????????????????????????????????????
Great bakery options. I like the bread with seeds on top and the almonds tart - Sarah L
The Tesco is very good and open 24/5. On weekends it falls short on Sunday. The other shops are so-so but changes are coming with an extension and hopefully will bring in more stylish clothing shops. - Herman Santiago
One of the best Starbucks I have been in so calm and relaxing can sit all day watching the world go by in the shopping centre - Algeriankiid Dz
Beautiful spot of tranquillity in London city centre. A rare find! - Danielle Eades
