DON'T PARK AND WALK OFF THE LOT! UNLESS YOU WANT AN EXPENSIVE BOOT ! I was visiting from Canada with a friend. my friend's car was booted in the parking lot because we walked over for a few minutes.
Before the tomahawk and Ted Turner- our baseball team was The Atlanta Crackers who played at Ponce de Leon Park (which is now the shopping center with Whole Foods and Petsmart)
The Ponce de Leon ballpark was home to the Atlanta Crackers , the Atlanta Black Crackers , and hosted Babe Ruth on six occasions.
Ponce de Leon Ballpark had a magnolia tree in center field that was in play. They called her 'Big Maggie'. (c/o Lee D.)
