Oysters were very fresh, and we even had the caviar ! Chef came out and asked for feedback afterwards, so that was a pleasant surprise. Choose to sit outside as the inside got pretty noisy during lunch
Big fan of boozy lunch at Cru. Shrimp cocktail is 🙌🏻, oysters , lobster roll . Martinis (cucumber - tequila ), back bar can get fun and rowdy
The ambient is very nice, reminded me of the French Riviera. Good food and wine . Amazing the Greek oil they give for tasting at the beginning of the dinner . I highly recommend
Amazing location, great atmosphere. The food was good. The Simon ACK oysters were some of the best I've ever had, and the smoked fish dip was delicious!
A big improvement over the Ropewalk (which I really liked). They've done a really nice job making it over. Awesome raw bar too, and they make a fine Dark n Stormy .
Hush puppies are amazing! Soft shell crab club sandwich was excellent and was served with perfectly cooked fries beautifully seasoned with rosemary , sage and sea salt .
Most amazing lobster roll . Still thinking about it. Gorgeous views of the harbor - highly recommend!
Lobster cocktail is the best. Go early and sit at the bar to beat the brunch rush and get a great view
The best restaurant in Nantucket! If you like a great Dark and Stormy , make sure to ask for Daniel. Best bartender at Cru!
My favorite summer 2016. Great lobster roll , calamari .
Cru has a lot to offer - a great location and a solid menu. It is pretty busy at all hours, though, and service suffers as a result.
The Lobster poached in butter is like heaven and the lobster roll is right below it
I loved the Local Oysters and the Lobster Roll . They were absolutely amazing!!
The fluke. Menu mainstay is fantastic.
This premier oyster bar offers casually elegant cuisine in a visually stunning waterfront setting on Nantucket harbor .
If there is striped bass on the menu - get it! Best meal of the summer. Crucumber cocktail is a must.
Dinner is good but I'd rather enjoy happy hour with cocktails and the calamari appetizer at the bar .
good for a fancy lobster roll , great location on the harbor
Fried clams and softshell BLT.... washing it down with Long Island Iced Tea ..... great lunch
Cocktail and raw bar at the Captains table - even on a rainy night.
Fun and lively on the wharf. Great spot.
Great setting on the wharf. Patrons can be loud .
Excellent buttery lobster roll !
Hush puppies are terrible, too much egg , not true hush puppies .. They are more like a fried soufflé . Fries and fried calamari are amazing!!!
Oysters , shellfish , cocktails
Best swordfish in recent memory.
Great spot for oysters and a glass of rose .
cool interior. Portions are decent. Fries r bland. My ceviche was hard and my friend got sick from fish sandwich . Prices are high. with that prime real estate y didnt they make outdoor seating !
Great oysters
Sit at the bar . Ask for Matty - any day but Sunday. Won't go wrong.
Best lobster roll I’ve ever had
Another afternoon at Cru :)
The shrubs are worth experiencing.
That pomegranate sorbet ... Divine
Early drinks on the water
Get 2 orders of the hushpuppies . Trust me.
Its no fluke I had the fluke two nights in a row
This is like being served an expensive (and actually decent) meal in the middle of a middle age frat house. Terrible layout, but fish was pretty good.
Very fun place. Cool decor.
Great cocktails !
Anna makes a good spicy tequila drink
Dark & Stormy
Great view but rude bar manager. Staff seemed preoccupied
Nantucket bay scallops
Overpriced
Wonderful, clean, fresh. Great gazpacho. And blue fish paste - who knew? - julia t
Pimms Cup is delicious as is the homemade clam chowder. - Julia Kloth
One of the more affordable places to grab lunch and cocktails in Nantucket. - Brittany Fisher
