An 1801 tavern on old N. Plank Road , has the original bar from the old US Hotel that was on the Nwbg waterfront in the 19th century, past owners ran speakeasy during prohibition, food's great too.
The local history club, the Newburgh Horse Thief Detecting Society, meets here every last Friday of the month at 7pm. It's a good time!
Mussels were absolutely amazing. Very fresh. Not briney at all.
